morgen meer / more tomorrow en Stampin'up party

Hallo allemaal,

Afgelopen weekend ben ik naar het Mini-retreat weekend van de Craftorij geweest.
We kregen zaterdag de hele dag les van Kate Crane en zondag de hele dag van Dyan Reaveley.
Het was super-geweldig!!
Gisteren wilde ik al een blogpost maken, maar mijn dochter had mijn foto toestel mee.
Vandaag geen tijd, dus morgen zal ik uitgebreid laten zien wat we gedaan hebben.

Last weekend I went to the Mini-retreat weekend organised by the Craftorij.
We spend all Saturday with Kate Crane and all Sunday with Dyan Reaveley.
It was Super-great!!
I wanted to make a blogpost yesterday, but my daughter had my photocamera with her all day.
No time today, so I'll show all the good stuff tomorrow.

Dinsdag 20 augustus om 1 uur 'smiddags heb ik hier bij mij thuis in Schagen weer een Stampin'up party!!
Mijn vriendin Marjo komt demonstreren en we gaan twee leuke projecten maken.
Er zijn nog plaatsen over...dus als je zin hebt om te komen, mail me dan even.
Hier zie je een foto van de vorige keer...tenminste, voordat iedereen kwam...

Zoals je ziet, ruimte zat. Dus als je in de buurt van Schagen woont, geef je dan gewoon op.
De stempels en vooral de inkten van Stampin'up zijn echt geweldig.

Hallo allemaal,

Sinds ongeveer twee maanden ben ik nu lid van de Stampingangels.

Als er voor iemand een project wordt opgezet, dan maakt diegene een leuk boekje waar een aantal (6-8) Angels dan een pagina in bestempelen volgens een thema.
Ik heb al aan 3 projecten mee mogen doen!
En er liggen nog twee projecten op mijn bureau. Vreselijk leuk om te doen !

I've been a member of the Stampingangels for about two months now.
When somebody starts a project, she has to make a little book. Then 6 or 8 angels get to stamp a page in the book, according to a chosen theme .
I already participated in 3 projects! And I have two more waiting for me on my desk. I love it!

Dit project had het thema: Vlindertuin 
The theme of this project was : a butterfly garden

Dit project had het thema: Silhouet
The theme for this one was: Silhouette

En dit project had als thema: Vogels
And this project's theme was : byrds

Als ik weer een aantal projecten af heb, laat ik ze natuurlijk weer zien aan jullie!
When I finish a few other projects, I'll share them with you again ofcourse!

Sweeping the room with a glance

Hallo allemaal,

Eindelijk de tijd gehad om deze pagina af te maken. Ik heb een tijdje moeten nadenken wat ik er verder mee zou doen. En toen dacht ik...nou, simpel...lekker veel belletjes en bubbels! Daar ben ik geloof ik wel dol op!
Ik had er nog veel meer op kunnen tekenen en stempelen. Maar soms is het ook de kunst van het weglaten!
Ik vind het eindresultaat erg leuk geworden.

Finaly I found the time to finish this project. It took me a while to figure out what to do with it. And then it came to me...ofcourse, simple...bubbles....and lots of them! I'm just crazy about bubbles and cirkles. IAt first I wanted to draw and stamp mor on the page, but I thought this was nice the way it looks now. Sometimes less is more! I realy love the endresult!

 En over cirkels en rondjes  gesproken; ik heb 3 atx's gemaakt voor onze atcstempel club. Het thema was rondjes/ cirkels....heerlijk dus. Misshien heb je ook zin om eens mee te doen! kijk dan even op onze atc stempelclub site!

And speaking about bubbles; I've made 3 atc's for our atcstampingclub.

Vorige week kwamen ook de Caran D"ache Neocolor II krijtjes binnen. (besteld bij Amazon.uk)
Wow!!! Alleen al mooi om naar te kijken!
Ik kan niet wachten om ze uit te proberen!! ^-^

Wow!!! They are just gorgeous to look at!!
I can't wait to try them out! ^-^

Stamping Angels

Hallo allemaal,

Sinds een paar weken ben ik lid van de Stamping Angels.
En ik viel meteen met mijn neus in de boter, want de 25e was er een Angeldag bij De Stamping Cottage in Schaik.
Daar deden we o.a een leuke workshop.
Met de Distress Paints van Ranger maakten we leuke achtergrondjes, die we in een envelop-boekje verwerkten.

Since a couple of weeks I'm a member of the Stamping Angels.
I only just joined and already got to go to an Angels-meeting at the Stamping Cottage in Schaik.
We had a wonderful workshop with Distress Paints. We used the backgrounds we made in an Envelop-booklet

We waren met 15 Angels (hihi, klink leuk) en iedereen had een cadeautje voor elkaar gemaakt.
Zelf had ik voor iedereen een matchbook-je gemaakt met daarin een setje glittersteentjes. Natuurlijk heb ik mijn favoriete stempel (mijn logo) daarop gezet!

There were 15 Angels there (heehee, sounds funny) and every one had made a little present for eachother.
I myself had made a little match-book with Gemstones in it. Ofcourse I used my favorite stamp ( my logo) on the cover.

En natuurlijk kreeg ik ook heel veel cadeautjes terug!! Zo leuk allemaal!
And ofcourse I got a lot of presents in return! It was so much fun!

 Verder hebben we heerlijk gekletst, projecten uitgewisseld en natuurlijk flink wat stempels gekocht!
Ik was nog nooit bij de Stamping Cottage geweest, omdat het wat te ver weg is. Maar ik heb genoten van de mooie winkel! En natuurlijk ook veel te veel gekocht. ^-^

We had a great time. We swapped projects, chatted an awful lot and bought lots of stamps!!
I had never been at the Stamping Cottage, because I live too far away. I realy enjoyed the beautiful store! And ofcourse I bought way to many stamps and stuff!!! ^-^

Hallo allemaal,

Het is al weer een paar weken geleden dat ik wat op het blog heb gezet.
De afgelopen weken zijn we veel bij mijn schoonmoeder geweest. Zij is vorige week overleden en afgelopen woensdag begraven.
Normaal vind ik in moeilijke tijden veel troost in mijn stempel en artjournal werk, maar nu had ik er gewoon een paar weken geen fut in.
Vlak voor dat ze zo ziek werd had ik wel nog een vrolijke pagina gemaakt. En nu heb ik eindelijk de tijd genomen om het eindresultaat ook te fotograferen:

It has been a few weeks since I posted a new blogpost.
The last few weeks we have been a lot with my Mother inlaw. Last week she passed away the funeral was this Wednesday.
Normaly I find lots of comfort in my art when times get though, but now I just didn't feel like creating anything at all.
The week before she got ill I had made a cheerful spread. And now I finaly took the time to fotograph the endresult:

Ik ben begonnen met gelato's.

I started out with Gelato's.

Gewoon lekker wat kleurtjes op de pagina "krijten"

Just adding colour random to the page.

Daarna ben ik er met een grote kwast met water overheen gegaan.

Aan de bovenkant heb ik wat groene metalic Gelato gedaan.

I then added water with a big brush. When that was dry I added some green metallic Gelato to the top of the page.

Dat heb ik flink nat gespoten en toen de druppels naar beneden laten lopen.

I spritsed a lot of water on it and just let the drops slide down the page.

 Met witte gelpen heb ik de rondjes van een Dylusions sjabloon ingekleurd. daarna met rood een aantal ruitjes. De stempels zijn van Dylusions en Tim Holz.

Met blauwe en witte stift heb ik er nog een randje langs gemaakt. 

Then I traced some cirkels from a Dylusions template with a white gelpen.

And after that some diamondshapes with a red gelpen.

The stamps I used  are from Dylusions and Tim Holz.

I used a blue and a white pen to make the borders.

Op de bovenste foto kan je zien dat ik er nog een bloemstempel van Magenta op heb gezet en de "Be fabulous" tekst van Paper Candy. Hier en daar heb ik nog wat stukjes tape geplakt.

De vroue is gestempeld met het Dylusion setje. Het gezicht heb ik er zelf bij getekend.

Als met al een vrolijke pagina vind ik zelf!

In the top picture you can see I used a bold flower stamp from Magenta and the Paper Candy text "Be fabulous"  then I stuck some pieces of paper tape on the page to finish it.

The woman was stamped with the Dylusion clearset. The face I drew on myself.

I realy think it turned out to be a cheeful page!

lekker bezig/having fun

Ik ben op het moment volop aan het genieten van de aankopen die ik een paar weken geleden op het Artspecially Event in Zeist heb gekocht!!
Lekker van alles uitproberen! Ik heb een iets kleiner (foto) boek van Paperchase gekocht bij de Bijenkorf, en dat is het ideale formaat voor mij om in te werken.
I am realy enjoying myself with the purchases I made last week at the Artspecially Event. Just trying out everything! I bought a smaller (photo)album from Paperchase (sold at the Bijenkorf) and it's the ideal size for me to work in!

Hier zijn een paar pagina's die ik de laatste week heb gemaakt:

Deze pagina is bewerkt met Dylusion sprays. De zeemeermin is van Stampotique en de blaadjes zijn van Kico stamps (Plate 51). Ik ben dol op dit soort "onder water" pagina's!
On this page I used Dylusion sprays for the background. The mermaid is from Stampotique and the little leafs are from Kico stamps (plate 51). I love these underwater scenes!!

Deze pagina heb ik met de Gelatos van Faber Castel. Ik ben zo blij dat ik die gekocht heb! Eerst heb ik de pagina bewerkt met Gesso. Dan werken de gelatos beter. Toen de achtergrond klaar was, heb ik Gesso over een Dylusion sjabloon gestreken, wat een mooi reliëf opleverde.
Het vrouwtje is weer van een plate van Marja. (Kico stamps plate 51) De vleugels zijn eigenlijk gewoon van de planten-bladeren stempel van die plate gemaakt. De tekst is van Dylusions.
I made this page with Gelatos from Faber Castel. I'm so happy I bought them! First I put gesso on the page, so the gelatos would work better. When the background was finished, I brushed gesso over a Dylusion template. To get a nice reliëf. The girl is from the Kico plate 51. The wings are actually plantleaves from the same plate. De quote is from Dylusions.

 De achtergrond is weer met Gelatos gemaakt. De jongetjes en de tak met uiltjes zijn van Stampotique (ja, ik heb er natuurlijk veel te veel van gekocht....maar ze zijn ook zo lekker gek!) De tekst is weer van Dyan Reaveley (Dylusions) De rest heb ik er zelf bij getekend. De maan is met een witte Sharpie "ingedoodled"! (is dat een woord?)
For this background I used the Gelatos again. The creapy boys are from Stampotique.(yes I know, I bought way to many Stampotique stamps...but they are so weird and funny!) And again I used a text from Dyan Reaveley (Dylusions). The rest of the page I drew myself. The moon was "doodled-in"with a white Sharpie! (is that even a real word?)

En nu ben ik met deze pagina bezig......De stempel is van Lost Coast Design...en die tekst past er prima bij vond ik. Het is voor het eerst dat ik zo'n tekst op deze manier zelf probeer te schrijven. En dat valt nog niet mee! Zodra hij af is zet ik hem op het blog....maar ik heb nog geen idee wat ik er verder mee ga doen.
Currently I'm working on this page.... The stamp is from Lost Coast Design. I thought the text went well with the stamp. It's the first time I tried to write something this way. And it was not that easy!
As soon as I finish the page, I'll put it on the blog. But for now I have no idea yet how to finish it....we'll see.

atc's met randjes/ atc's with borderstamps

Ik ben zo lekker bezig met mijn nieuwe aankopen!!!
Ik vergeet helemaal om mijn atc's aan jullie te laten zien, die ik voor onze swap van deze maand heb gemaakt. (wil je ook meedoen? ga dan naar de www.atcstempelclub.blogspot.nl )
Het thema is randjes....
De randjes die ik heb gebruikt zijn van Dylusions en de meisjes zijn van Stampotique.
De achtergrond is met de distress paints van Ranger gemaakt.
Ik vind ze zelf erg leuk geworden! Dat ga ik ook eens op een Artjournal pagina gebruiken!

I've been so busy with my new purchases from the Artspecially Event!!!
I almost forgot to share my new atc's I made for this months swap with you. (see www.atcstempelclub.blogspot.nl ) This month's theme is "borders" ...
I used the borderstamps from Dylusions and the two girls are from Stampotique.
For the background I used Ranger Distress Paints.
I realy love how they turned out! Maybe I'll use this in an Artjournal page !

Zo, en nu weer lekker verder aan mijn nieuwste artjournal pagina!!!
And now I'm going to finish my newest Artjournal page, yaay!
