Twee stamping Angels projecten af! / finished two Stamping Angels projects

Hallo allemaal,

Eindelijk ben ik er aan toe gekomen om een start te maken met de Stamping Angels projecten.
Op de Angels dag had ik er 14 gekregen!
Afgelopen week heb ik er twee afgemaakt.....dus nog 12 te gaan !
In de Stamping Angel groep maken we kleine "boekjes" voor elkaar. In zo'n boekje maken een aantal mensen een pagina. Als het boekje vol is, krijgt degene voor wie het project is opgezet hem toegestuurd en mag het dan houden.

I finally got around to making  the first two Stamping Angels projects.
I got 14 of them to work in at the Angels-day a few weeks ago!
Last week I finished two of them......only 12 to go!
As members of the Stamping Angels group we make little "books" for eachother.
A few members get to stamp one page in it. And when the little book is finished, it is send to the person it was set up for.

Het was zo leuk om te maken. Ik heb één van de kerst setjes van Crafty Secrets gebruikt. Zo lief!
It was so much fun to make! I used one of the christmas sets from Crafty Secrets. So sweet!


Voor het tweede project moest ik een atc van een vrolijk meisje stempelen. Ik heb hiervoor een stempel gebruikt die mijn vriendin van haar dochter had laten maken. En dat is een vrolijke meid...dus heel toepasselijk vond ik!

For the seccond project I had to make an ATC of a happy (cheerful) girl. I used a stamp that my friend had made of a picture of her daughter. And she's a cheerful girl....so the stamp was perfect for this!

Nu ben ik al weer met het derde project bezig! maar ja, er zijn ook nog zo'n 50 kerstkaarten te maken.
Nee...vervelen doe ik me echt niet!

Now I'm already working on the next project! But I also have to make about 50 christmas cards in the next two weeks! So no.....I'm never bored!

Kinderboekje / childrens book

Hallo allemaal,

Kennen jullie ze ook nog? Die Kluitman kinderboekjes zoals Harm Jan en Tieneke, of Bakkertje Deeg?
Deze boekjes koop je op rommelmarkten of bij de Kringloopwinkel voor een paar dubbeltjes.
En ze zijn heerlijk om een Artjournal in te maken.

This is an old childrensbook. You can by the at thriftshops or at carboot sales. They are realy cheap and wonderfull to work in.

De bladzijdes zijn wel heel poreus, dus je moet ze eerst met bv Gesso bewerken.
De onderstaande pagina's heb ik met acrylverf en Dylusion spray's bewerkt.
Daarna heb ik links zwarte gesso en rechts  witte gesso over een sjabloon besmeerd. Dit geeft mooie reliëf vierkantjes. De stempels zijn van Crafty Secrets.

The pages are absorbend so you have to Gesso them first.
The next spread I made with acrylic paint and Dylusion spray's. Then I used a Dylusion tamplate and som Gesso to get the reliëf squares. I used black gesso on the left page and white gesso on the right page.
The stamps are from Craft Secrets.

Soms plak ik de bladzijdes aan elkaar vast voor extra stevigheid.
Als het boekje vol is ga ik misschien de kaft ook bewerken...maar misschien laat ik ze ook wel gewoon zo. Is ook wel grappig denk ik.

I sometimes stick the pages together to make them thicker, sturdier.
When the book is finnished I might do something with the covers....but maybe I just leave them the way they are. Don't know yet, it might be funny.

Deze pagina's heb ik ook eerst met Gesso bewerkt. Daarna heb ik er diverse kleuren Dylusions op gespoten. Daarna heb ik een bloemenrand sjabloon van Dylusions er op gelegd en met distress inkt de rand gesponst. De stempels zijn van Dylusions, behalve de rondjes, die zijn van Tim Holz.

On the next spread I also used Gesso firts. Then I sprayed them with Dylusion sprays. I put a flower templeate (Dylusion also) in the corners and sponged some distresspaint, so I got a nice flower border.The stamps are by Dylusions, except for the circkles. They are by Tim Holz.

 Ik heb een nieuwe witte gelpen...eindelijk eentje die het echt goed doet: de Uni-ball Signo gelpen. (Stampin'up verkoopt ze ook) Dusdaar heb ik me heerlijk mee uitgeleefd!

I've got a new white gelpen...finaly one that realy works! The Uni-ball Signo gelpen. ( I know stampin'up sells them). So I've been having fun with that.

Met een klein tubetje goudverf heb ik wat accentjes aangebracht.
I used a little tube with goldpaint to create some nice accents.

Dream

Hallo allemaal,

Ik ben helemaal verslaafd aan de dylusions sprays! Heerlijk om mee te werken!
I am totaly addicted to Dylusions sprays!! I love working with them!

Op het achtergrondkaartje heb ik een reep schilderstape geplakt. plak het tape eerst een paar keer op je broek of zo, dan plakt het minder sterk op je papier.
De kaart heb ik met oranje, roze, groen en geel bespoten. (Lemon Zest, bubblegum pink, squeezed orange en fresh lime

I stuck a piece of maskingtape onto a card. What works best for me is to stick the tape on your trouwers a few times first , so it looses a bit of it's stickyness.
I sprayed the card with Lemon Zest, bubblegum pink, squeezed orange and fresh lime.

De tape heb ik er weer voorzichtig een eind afgetrokken, zodat ik de stempel van het slapende meisje (Crafty Secrets) op de rand kon stempelen.

I carefully removed a bit of the tape, so I could stamp the image of the sleeping girl ( Crafty Secrets) exactly on top of the white border.

Daarna heb ik het tape weer terug geplakt en de andere stempels erop afgedrukt. (bloemen: onbekend, vogels en vlinders van Heroarts).
Als je het tape er dan helemaal afhaalt, krijg je een mooie witte rand.

I stuck the tape back onto the card again and stamped the other images. (flowers: unknown, Birds and butterflies are from Heroarts)
Remove the tape again and you have a nice white border.

Op de rand heb ik het woord Dream gestempeld met losse alfabet stempels.
Daarna heb ik er een stuk organza lint er op geplakt en een bloempje met een roze splitpen vastgezet.
De afbeeldingen heb ik met potlood ingekleurd en het geheel is op een witte kaart geplakt.

I stamped the word Dream on the border with alphabet letters. Then I glued a piece of Organza onto the border and put a little flower with a brad on the left side. The images were colored in with coloring pencils. I then glued it all on a white card.
